On April 28, a ceremony was held to exchange documents signed between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran with the participation of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of Iran Massoud Pezeshkian.

EDnews reports that first, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Massoud Pezeshkian signed the Joint Statement of the Presidents.

The “Political Consultations Program between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran for 2025-2027” was exchanged by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Seyid Abbas Araghchi.

The “Memorandum of Understanding on Comprehensive Cooperation in the Field of Transport between the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran for 2025-2026” was exchanged by the Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiyev and the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran Ms. Farzana Sadiq.

The “Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the Mutual Recognition of Certificates under Regulation 10 of the “International Convention on the Training, Certification and Watchkeeping of Seafarers, 1978” was exchanged by the Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiyev and the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran, Ms. Farzana Sadiq

The “Cultural Exchange Program between the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the Islamic Republic of Iran for 2025-2028” was exchanged by the Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan Adil Karimli and the Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Iran Seyyed Reza Salehi Amiri.

The “Memorandum of Understanding between the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Media Cooperation” was exchanged by the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran, Ms. Farzana Sadiq.
