Azerbaijan and Georgia have reached an agreement on expanding cooperation between postal services.Thus, a meeting was held between the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, “Azerpost” and Georgian Post. The meeting was attended by Isi Mustafayev, Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors Member of the Board of Directors, Levan Chikvaidze, Director General of Georgian Post and Nugzar Bregvadze, Head of the International Relations Office.
“EDnews” reports that the agreement was reached at the 1st Forum of European and Postal Leaders held in Baku.
The parties discussed the issues of expanding cooperation opportunities in the postal sector between the two countries. An exchange of views was held on the sharing of experiences in the field of parcel delivery in the field of e-commerce and the study of the possibilities of applying innovations in sorting processes.
