On May 16, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with President of the Council of the European Union Antonio Costa and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen in Tirana.
According to EDnews, in his congratulatory letter to the newly elected President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, President Ilham Aliyev expressed his belief that cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union will continue to develop successfully in accordance with our mutual interests.
The President of Azerbaijan wished the newly elected President of the European Commission good health, happiness, and success in her future responsible work.
