Former Armenian prime minister Karen Karapetyan who attended today the session of the NA committee studying the April war circumstances told the reporters today that he respects and evaluates the contribution of second president Robert Kocharyan to the independence of Artsakh and Armenian republics, EDNews.net reports citing Aysor.
“This judicial process lasts for two years and more probably it will last for long, this is why I mediated for the change of the prevention measure,” he said.
Asked whether he considered the process to be a political persecution, Karapetyan said, “It is rather irritated and politicized process. No one says acquit the guilty, we just say take into consideration the circumstances and implement the process in other way, by changing the preventive measure.”
