Pashinyan's agreement in Prague is very important both politically and legally, and it will be the salvation of the Armenian people," Umud Mirzayev, president of the International Eurasia Press Fund gave this statement when speaking to Ednews. He emphasized that the integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan belong to all territories of the country.
"Of course, this is the exceptional services of the Azerbaijani state, diplomacy and the head of state, which should be highly appreciated. After the territorial integrity is recognized, the mission of the third party in these lands also loses its validity. This also shows the strength and power of the Azerbaijani state. European and Western countries are already counting on the opinion of Azerbaijan. This is also a great achievement of our people. Therefore, thanks to the President of Azerbaijan, the victorious Azerbaijani army and everyone who has served in the formation of the solidarity of the people."
Umud Mirzayev also noted that this decision can mobilize black forces.
"Recognition of mutual borders is a great historical event. Obviously, this decision will irritate the separatist and revanchist forces, and therefore they may resort to certain provocations. But this will come to an end."
He said that the Armenians have repeatedly created obstacles to the peace process, but they have not been able to achieve it.
"Armenians repeatedly brought up the issue of the status of Karabakh and tried to restore the activity of the Minsk group of the OSCE. But in the end, the strong will of Azerbaijan has always said its word."
In the end, the IEPF president spoke about Azerbaijani citizens of Armenian origin living in Karabakh. He noted that all people living in Karabakh are directly citizens of Azerbaijan.
"President Ilham Aliyev reminded once again yesterday that the Armenians living in Karabakh are our citizens. Of course, this is a very serious message. Armenian separatist and armed forces must immediately and urgently leave the territories of Azerbaijan. Other people who accept Azerbaijani citizenship will be able to live in these lands with equal rights with us. Different peoples have always lived very prosperously and friendly in Azerbaijan."
