American inspectors have arrived in Kyiv to discuss the use of assistance provided to Ukraine, the US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink said on X, Ednews informs.
“Pleased to welcome back to Kyiv three Inspectors General from the Departments of Defense, State, and USAID. Their meetings with implementers, partners, and the Ukrainian government support oversight and accountability for US assistance to Ukraine,” she noted.
Earlier, the American side stated that the United States did not know what the money allocated for Ukraine was used for. At the same time, a report was published by the control department of the US Department of Defense. It said that the Pentagon did not properly oversee arms supplies to Ukraine - more than half of the $1.6 billion in supplies remained unaccounted for.
