The presidential elections in Azerbaijan in 2024 are distinguished from previous ones by high activity, First Deputy Director General of TASS and observer from the CIS Mikhail Gusman told NEWS.ru, Ednews reports.
He added that the ongoing election process is very significant and indicative.
“There is more activity in these elections than in previous ones. This is true. It’s just that people are coming to the polls en masse. And, you know, they didn’t campaign on purpose. This, it seems to me, is a factor in the fact that that today Azerbaijan is a country where there are no occupied territories as a result of the war, which was victorious for the republic. This greatly influenced the enthusiasm of people in the elections,” he noted.
