As we reported earlier an agreement was reached with Armenia on the return of 4 villages of Gazakh to Azerbaijan. This was agreed upon at the eighth meeting of the State Commission on State Border Delimitation between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the Commission on State Border Delimitation and Border Security Issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan held on April 19.
Regarding the historical occasion, Umud Mirzayev, president of the International Eurasia Press Fund, told Ednews that we are witnessing great historical events on behalf of Azerbaijan:
"When thinking about the Karabakh tragedy, in general, the beginning of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict is remembered by the tragedy of the Baganis occupation (one of the villages). That is a very painful place in terms of the translation of our people. Our people have experienced great pain there. I want to inform you that in the last 30 years, in almost all my my speeches, I paired the name of Asaghi Abdürrahmanli village where I was born, with the Lower Eskipara village. These two villages have witnessed all the tragedies occured in 30 years.
U. Mirzayev also remembered the late poet Shaig Vali from the village of Eski Para:
"I especially want to emphasize that the village of Ashagi Eskipara is really very valuable to me. I remember this village as a burning part of my heart. The late poet Shaig Vali was a great intellectual of this village. May he rest in peace. Today, the soul of my dear friend can be graceful. Our lands are returning baxk to us. All the events mean the establishment of justice.
U. Mirzayev noted that the 30-year policy of the Azerbaijani people, the foundation of its economy, the foundation of its foreign policy, and the building of the army were correctly established:
"All these are the results of the successful policy that was started by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, that has been making its way till today. Also, this historical event proves the invincibility of the Azerbaijani people. I congratulate all the Azerbaijani people. This issue was resolved without fighting, without weapons and, most importantly, without bloodshed. I express my thoughts in words. I find it difficult to express. This policy of our leader is really a victory in the case of the intervention of foreign forces."
