Azerbaijan’s media freedom is as free, democratic, stable, and prosperous as in the United Kingdom, Aykhan Hajizada, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote on X in response to the UK Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Fergus Auld’s X post, Ednews informs.
“Ambassador, your claim lacks fairness and impartiality, focusing on a narrow perspective that overlooks a comprehensive review of the freedom of media in Azerbaijan,” the spokesperson said.
