"We are at the III International Conference on Mine Action organized by ANAMA. On May 30, we went to Zangilan and on the first day of the conference, we encountered a large demining activity and the process of reconstruction of the territories."
Ednews reports that UNICEF representative Bakhtiyar Salimov said these words at the III International Mine Action Conference dedicated to “Mitigating Environmental Impact of Landmines: Resource Mobilization for Safe and Green Future”:
"It may take decades to clear all the mines. Therefore, we must unite and bring all international organizations together in a coordinated manner. More than 65 countries in the world are contaminated with mines. Thus, the "Sustainable Development Goal" project will enable mine-affected countries to act together.
