The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan has recently defined its strategic directions and key responsibilities under a newly approved charter.     •    Establish and expand cooperation with foreign states and international organizations in line with national interests.
    •    Represent Azerbaijan internationally and protect its national interests.
    •    Provide input on international political developments and execute decisions of the President in foreign affairs.
    •    Support international negotiations, especially in areas like climate diplomacy.
    •    Promote Azerbaijan’s culture abroad and support related international events.
    •    Assist in establishing foreign contacts for state bodies, NGOs, and businesses.
    •    Oversee compliance with international treaties and handle treaty-related procedures.
    •    Defend national interests in international courts and arbitral tribunals.
    •    Inform the public and media about foreign policy through official channels.
