Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili praised the planned peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, expressing Georgia’s readiness to actively participate in the process.
According to “EDnews” Georgia bureau, the minister made these remarks during a briefing held in Tbilisi with the participation of OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioğlu.
Bochorishvili emphasized that Georgia is committed to contributing to the preservation of peace and stability in the South Caucasus region. She also noted that the trilateral meeting held last week in Tbilisi between the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia opened up new opportunities for regional cooperation and development.
Georgia has a strong interest in promoting peace and stability in the South Caucasus. I hope this week’s meeting will lead to positive outcomes for the region. Georgia places great importance on the development of regional cooperation and the implementation of projects that enhance our role and support economic growth.
The minister also noted that cooperation with the OSCE is crucial for regional development and praised Georgia’s activities within the organization.
“We are ready to work closely with all partners to promote regional cooperation and create more opportunities,” she added.
