October 28, a second lunar eclipse of 2023 will take place, Ednews reports that the Department of Astrophysics of the Faculty of Physics of Baku State University (BSU) said.
The penumbral eclipse will begin at 22:01:44 Baku time, and a partial eclipse will begin at 23:35:18. The maximum of the eclipse will occur at 00:14:00 on October 29. At 00:52:37 the partial eclipse, and at 02:26:19 the penumbral eclipse will end.
The second partial lunar eclipse of the year 23 will be visible in Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, North America, Northeast South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Oceans, Arctic and Antarctica. The eclipse event will also be observed in the territory of Azerbaijan.
