X Corp. CEO Linda Yaccarino said on Thursday that the media platform is constantly removing accounts in real time that are related to "terrorist organizations or violent extremists" and that it is continuously working on ensuring compliance with the guidelines of the Digital Services Act (DSA).
The company also "redistributed resources and refocused internal teams who are working around the clock to address this rapidly evolving situation," she underlined. "Since the terrorist attack on Israel, we have taken action to remove or label tens of thousands of pieces of content, while Community Notes are visible on thousands of posts, generating millions of impressions," Yaccarino said.
The comments are part of the letter sent today to the European Commission as a response to the warning made earlier by the Commissioner for the Internal Market Thierry Breton over possible dissemination of illegal content and disinformation inside the EU amid the Israel-Hamas war.
