Due to the increase in the number of active infections, a strict quarantine regime will be imposed in Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Lankaran and Absheron regions from 00:00 on June 6 to 06:00 on June 8, Addressing the citizens, Prime Minister Ali Asadov said that the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers has made the decision in this regard, EDNews.net reports citing Agenda.ge.
The Prime Minister said that compliance with the requirements of the decision is obligatory and mandatory.
“In case of infection cases of the disease increase in other cities and regions then strict measures will be applied again in those regions too in the future. Ministry of Internal Affairs is in charge of controlling the implementation of the decision. Finally, I would like to note again that the supreme purpose of all the measures taken is to protect the health and life of our citizens,” A. Asadov noted.
