"Three areas regarding mass burials were discovered in Edilli, "Nurana Huseynova, Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine Criminology, APA, reports.
She said that the remains belong to Azerbaijani soldiers:
"The heads of body remains are bent forward to the left and right. They have clothes on and black leather-like boots on their feet. Besides identification documents, two knives, cigarette butts, bullets, cartridges, and casings were discovered in the areas. The discovered skeletons have belts around their waists. The images of the hammer, sickle, and star are mentioned on the rusted iron plate on this belt."
The head of the department noted that the skeletal bones will be packed and sent to the Forensic Forensics Department for examination along with the decisions of the Military Prosecutor's Office: "More accurate examinations will be continued there."
