Thanks to your initiatives and efforts created together with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan became a great diplomatic victory of the two brotherly nations.
The high level of relations between the two states is a reality that we see with our eyes. As a result of the political-social, cultural-humanitarian measures initiated by the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, the wonderful friendship and strong brotherly relations between our peoples that have existed for centuries are being demonstrated in front of the eyes of the entire world community.
We are very satisfied with the activities carried out by the presidents of the two countries in the process of comprehensive development and raising to a higher level of the relations established in all fields. Such events create a sense of pride in us, because this event is a great victory not only for two nations, but for the entire Turkic world.
We ask you to pay attention to the activities of our Uzbek brother, journalist Salamov Shuhrat Nasir oglu, who has been working effectively in the Azerbaijani press for several years and has implemented many great projects for the sake of friendship between the two peoples.
For several years, this Uzbek brave boy, who has been creative in mass media and social networks under the pseudonym "Shuhrat Barlas", is accepted by Azerbaijani elders in Uzbekistan as their own child. He is well known and respected in Azerbaijan as well.
Similarities between the ethnic conflicts in the history of the Turkic peoples together with the history of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, especially the causes of the Karabakh ethnic unrest in Azerbaijan, including the study of the consequences of ethnic terrorism and separatism, issues of highlighting historical truths to the world community, eight-volume works on the relations in the history of the two brotherly nations created.
We are proud that our Uzbek brother Salamov Shuhrat Nasir oglu BARLAS is the only Uzbek person who has been broadcasting about Karabakh for years on "AzTV", "Public TV", "Lider TV", "Khazar TV", "CBC TV" and other information and analytical resources. directly assisted in its creation as an expert-consultant. At the same time, he is the only Uzbek author who has published more than 1000 articles in Uzbek, Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian and English languages from various media resources of the world about the history of the origin of the Karabakh war, ethnic conflict and the consequences of the war. During the second Karabakh war, he created and demonstrated a large number of video contents from social networks and various media resources of the world for 44 days.
Salamov Shuhrat Nasir oglu BARLAS has been cooperating with the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center under the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan since 2014 as a research journalist. In 2015, after participating as an independent researcher in the "Scientific Research Program" jointly established with the Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA) and the Center for Strategic Studies (SAM) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he learned about the history of relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, the world based on articles published in media resources "Turkestan and South Caucasus XIX-XX centuries." His book was published in Tashkent.
A big event was organized at Sukhishvili University in Tbilisi for the work "Karabakh Война идей - Национализм-Terrorism-Genocide" published in Tbilisi, Georgia in 2016, and the work was presented to the people of Georgia.
In 2017, the books "Krah antagonizma и национализма" and "G'oyalar jangi" in Uzbek about the realities of Karabakh were published in Tashkent.
In 2018, in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, "Karabakh conflict. The book "Istoki-Prichiny-Posledstvia" was published. This work was recognized as one of the best works published in Kyrgyzstan on the causes and consequences of the Karabakh war, and in 2019, it was awarded the international "KHAZAR" award in Baku for outstanding journalistic services in covering the Karabakh problem.
Salamov Shuhrat Nasir oglu BARLAS, who went to all front regions of Karabakh in order to prepare materials for journalistic investigations about Azerbaijan, showed his military journalism skills to the world community with his books, articles, documentaries and television programs. He was awarded the title of "Honorary Doctor" by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute of History named after A.A. Bakikhanov, National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan, for covering the truths of Karabakh in the world media.
The book "Dashnaks from Fergany to Karabakh" published in Baku in 2019, the main theme of which is about ethnic conflicts in the history of the Turkic peoples, and the book "Zangezur - Gate of the Turkic World" published in Tashkent in 2022 were published. These works caused great resonance in Azerbaijan.
Our brother Salamav Shuhrat Nasir oglu BARLAS participated in the UN reconstruction program of Afghanistan as a journalist since 2001. In 2003, Uzbeks in Afghanistan provided journalistic assistance in covering the scientific, cultural, and educational issues necessary to pass a law in the Afghan parliament that would represent the right of Uzbeks to officially use their native language.
He participated in the training of young people working in television and radio stations in Afghanistan and many students from the Uzbek language faculties of universities in Northern Afghanistan. With the support of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature of the Ministry of Public Education of Afghanistan, the book "Uzbek National Idea and Language Education Programs in Afghanistan" written by Salamov Shuhrat in the Arabic alphabet of the Uzbek language was published. This work is recognized by the society as the first work by an Uzbek author that talks about the life of Uzbeks in Afghanistan and the difficulties of creating an education system. The theses presented in the book were used in the preparation of official textbooks on the Uzbek language in Afghanistan.
Salamov Shuhrat Nasir oglu BARLAS created the first independent newspaper in Karakalpakstan in 2000 and as the editor-in-chief he gave practical support to the development of Karakalpakstan Media. In 2004, he led the development of independent journalism in Karakalpakstan due to the grant project financed by the Support Fund for Mass Media of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the mass riots in Karakalpakstan in 2022, he participated in the emergence of misconceptions and crazy analyzes of the situation in order to oppose the spread of materials in the mass media that had a negative impact on the social opinion of Azerbaijanis and Anatolian Turks.
To prevent young people from Karakalpakstan from going astray as a result of information attacks under the influence of outsiders, he went to remote villages and conducted explanatory interviews with the families of young people who unknowingly became participants in the riots.
Our brother Salamov Shuhrat Nasir oglu BARLAS works closely with the "History of Uzbekistan" TV channel of the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan and participates as a consultant in the activities related to the research of archival documents representing the friendship between the peoples of the Turkic world. Our brother, who created and presented to the public video-content and television programs that created great resonance, has been cooperating with the International Eurasian Press Fund, which is a member of the UN Economic and Social Council with the highest status - the main consultant, for many years. Since 2015, he has been carrying out the mission of strengthening friendship and brotherhood between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan as a special correspondent for Central Asia of the international information agency EURASIA DIARY. At the same time, he continues to cooperate with the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center under the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan, and is still working on new research.
Salamov Shuhrat Nasir oglu BARLAS, who lived in Uzbekistan and connected his fate and future with the Turkic world, is a dear and valuable personality not only for Azerbaijanis and Uzbeks, but also for Turks living all over the world. We trust that you will give our brother the attention you think he deserves, as well as the state award, considering his many years of service.
