In a ceremony held at the main office of IEPF, the President of the International Eurasian Press Fund, Umud Mirzayev, was bestowed with the 100th-anniversary medal of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Ednews reports.

The presentation, saw the Director of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical College and Chairman of "Umid" Social Development Support Public Union, Israil Iskenderov, bestowing the commemorative medal upon Umud Mirzayev in recognition of his significant contributions.

Expressing gratitude, U. Mirzayev extended his thanks to Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, Rector of ADPU Professor Jafar Jafarov, and Israel Iskenderov for the honor.

This recognition comes as part of the nationwide celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, marked by a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev in 2021. The university, with a rich history and a significant role in the educational landscape of Azerbaijan, has consistently fulfilled its duties in training scientific and pedagogical personnel, not only for the nation but also for several other countries.
