"The number of human remains found in a mass grave in Khojaly has reached 19," Deputy Head of the Department of Criminalistics and Information Technology, Head of the Department of Forensic Science Orkhan Rzayev said today at the briefing co-organized by Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General's Office and State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons, Ednews reports.
He noted that according to the characteristics of the human remains found in the soil it was determined that they were killed 25 years ago. Investigative work was carried out in the mass grave discovered in Khojaly from February 23 to March 4.
During the current level of forensic-genetic examination, the identities of 9 persons were determined:
