Gazi, journalist Rey Karimoghlu spoke about the danger of mines at the event held on April 4 in Tartar in connection with the International Mine Awareness and Mine Action Assistance Day.
Ednews reports that he expressed these thoughts about the current landmine threat in Azerbaijan:
" The International Eurasian Press Foundation held two big events in Tartar under the organization of members of the public council under Mine Action Agency of The Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA). A great tree - planting campaign was held. This was because the flora and fauna of Azerbaijan were seriously damaged as a result of the war.
Mine victims and representatives of international organizations took part in the event. Thus, we appealed to the world community. Mine problem in Azerbaijan is very big. Our state should not fight this problem alone. Education work should be done faster so that the landmine problem can be solved as soon as possible."
