Participants of the 2nd Shusha Global Media Forum on the fight against disinformation have departed for Shusha, Ednews informs.
As reported earlier the forum aims to address the pressing issue of disinformation in media, will be held on July 21-22. The attendees are expected to engage in discussions and workshops focused on combating fake news and promoting accurate, objective journalism.
The delegation also includes names such as Umud Mirzayev, President of the International Eurasia Press Fund; Dr. Mostefa Souag, Director General of Al Jazeera Media Network; Mr. Salah Negm, Director of Al Jazeera English News Channel; Ms. Eman Al Amri, Director of Al Jazeera Media Institute; Mr. Ezzeddine Abdelmoula, Manager of Research at Al Jazeera Centre for Studies; Mr. Omar Jalal, Office Manager of the Director General of Al Jazeera Media Network; Mr. Mohamed Erraji, Head of Media Studies at Al Jazeera Centre for Studies; Dr. Thembisa Fakude, Chief Executive Officer of the Mail and Guardian Newspaper (M&G); and Aysaba Umutlu, producer of the English channel.
