Barcelona could agree a £154m deal with Paris St-Germain today to bring Neymar back to the Nou Camp next summer, Daily Star reports.

The Brazilian reportedly wants out of PSG a mere two years after joining for a world-record £198m.

Former club Barca have been working hard to re-sign him, but funds are low after they paid £106m to sign Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid.

According to Mundo Deportivo , though, Ernesto Valverde’s side could get their hands on the 27-year-old next summer when a €170m [£154m] release clause enters his contract at the Parc Des Princes.

They report that Neymar is due to hold crunch talks with PSG today, meaning an agreement with Barca that would see him return in the summer of 2020 could be reached.

It would make a lot of sense for the Catalans, given the fact Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez will turn 33 next year.

However, El Clasico rivals Real Madrid are also in the running to prise Neymar away from France.

And AS claim PSG have asked for highly-rated youngster Vinicius Jr to be included in any deal.

Real, though, have reportedly rebuffed several approaches for the 19-year-old, who was one of their best performers last term.

And last week it was claimed they had sent representatives to Paris to try and get a deal for Neymar over the line.

If he wants to leave this summer, Neymar has less than a week remaining to secure his PSG exit.

The European transfer window is due to close on September 2, meaning time is running out for any deal to materialise.

Neymar has netted 51 goals in 58 appearances for PSG, picking up two Ligue 1 titles in the process.
