U.S. President Donald Trump criticized Iran for blocking the internet, Eurasia Diary reports citing Vestnik Kavkaza.
"Iran has become so unstable that the regime has shut down their entire Internet System so that the Great Iranian people cannot talk about the tremendous violence taking place within the country," the U.S. leader tweeted.
"They want ZERO transparency, thinking the world will not find out the death and tragedy that the Iranian Regime is causing!," Trump added.
The Iranian authorities imposed a near-total Internet shutdown in the country on November 16, making it difficult to get a clear picture of the protest over fuel-price hikes.
