The Iranian Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Nasser Kanaani (pictured) stated on Monday that Tehran hopes the prisoner exchange with the United States will occur during the day.
Speaking to reporters at a press conference, Kanaani also announced that the Iranian funds South Korea froze will be released today.
Additionally, Kanaani noted there is a possibility of a meeting on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) being held on the sidelines of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly (UNGA).
