President Ilham Aliyev, who shared his views on the future of Azerbaijan at the swearing-in ceremony in 2003, made serious promises about what and when to do regarding the future of our people, and over the years he has coped over all of them, head of the Presidential Administration Samir Nuriyev said as he addressed a conference themed "20 years of unparalleled service to the country, people and statehood" dedicated to the 20th anniversary of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev's presidency, Ednews reports.
“Thanks to the measures taken under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has reached the level of a leading state in the world. Compared to 2003, the poverty rate has decreased to 5 percent," he added.
