The head of government decided to urgently return to Pakistan, since on January 16, the Iranian Armed Forces, using drones and missiles, attacked the headquarters of the Jaysh al-Zolm terrorist group in Pakistan.
According to the Tasnim agency, drones and missiles were used in the operation. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry condemned the strike, calling it a violation of airspace that could have serious consequences.
On January 18, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry confirmed the strikes in several areas of the Iranian Seravan district (Sistan and Baluchistan province), saying that their targets were “terrorist hideouts.”
