King Charles III, 75, went into hospital on Friday for an operation on his benignly enlarged prostate, Ednews reports referring to the Buckingham Palace statement announced the same day.
"The King was admitted to a London hospital this morning for scheduled treatment. His Majesty would like to thank all those who have sent him good wishes over the past week and is delighted to hear that his diagnosis is having a positive impact on public health awareness," the palace said. The King was seen entering the London Clinic on Friday morning, with Queen Camilla by his side.
