President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan answered journalists' questions after Friday prayers in Istanbul Ednews reports referring to Hürriyet. Regarding the letter that US President Joe Biden wrote to the US House of Representatives, Erdoğan said, "We are waiting there too. Hopefully, the result that will come from there will enable the process of sending F16s to Türkiye."

(Regarding Sweden-NATO) It was passed by our parliament with an overwhelming majority upon the promise given. I signed it and it was published in the official newspaper that evening.

With the step we took, Canada, Sweden and all western countries were accurate in showing Turkey's stance. We continue on our way with the same determination.
