"In 2023, operations were organized and continue to be organized against all terrorist organizations, especially BTÖ, FETO, DAESH and Left-wing Terrorist Organizations, by our units affiliated with our Gendarmerie Command, General Directorate of Security and Coast Guard Command," said Minister Yerlikaya, and gave the following information about the operations carried out. :
"Between January 1st, 2023 and December 31st, 2023, 3, 911 urban and 19,682 rural operations were carried out against BTÖ (Separatist Terrorist Organization). In these operations, 923 terrorists were neutralized, 7,716 suspects were detained, with 1,555 arrested and 1,683 of them were given a judicial control order. 6,775 operations were carried out against FETO. 9, 639 suspects were detained, with 1,689 of them were arrested, and a judicial control order was given for 1, 677 of them.1,500 operations were carried out against the DAESH terrorist organization.
