United States Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin will not travel to Brussels for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's (NATO) meeting dedicated to the conflict in Ukraine after all, Fox News reported on Monday, citing a Pentagon official.
The source did not disclose if another representative will travel to the encounter instead or if Austin will attend it virtually.
Earlier, the Defense Department (DoD) said that Austin was placed into hospital care due to bladder issues and that he temporarily transferred duties to his deputy Kathleen Hicks.
