Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Monday that the blockade of the Polish border by Polish lorry drivers and farmers was evidence of an "erosion of solidarity" with his country. Ednews reports citing Le Figaro.
"What is happening on our western border, the border with Poland, cannot be considered normal or ordinary," he said. It demonstrates "the erosion of solidarity on a daily basis".
For weeks, Polish farmers have been trying to prevent the import of shipments from Ukraine, in protest at what they see as unfair competition. This dispute has strained relations between Kiev and Warsaw, which has been one of Ukraine's staunchest supporters since the start of the Russian invasion.
