The convoy of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky came under fire in Odessa during the visit of the Greek Prime Minister to the city, Ednews reports citing Greek publication Protothema.
The publication Prototema claims that this morning the convoy with Zelensky, which at that moment was 150 meters from the Greek delegation led by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, came under air attack.
“Everything is fine with us,” Stavros Papastavrou, who was part of the Greek delegation, told the publication; there were no casualties as a result of the attack.
As a result, the meeting between Mitsotakis and Zelensky took place as usual.
“Volodymyr Zelenskyi survived the attack on Odesa during his visit to the city. The meeting continued as normal,” write Greek journalists.
“We heard the sound of sirens and explosions, which were very close to us. We did not have time to go to a protected place, it was a very impressive experience,” Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis said.
