The Spanish specialist has risen to 2nd place in the list of the best head coaches in the Bundesliga with the result he showed with his team after 26 rounds this season, Ednews reports.
Bayer 04 is currently in first place with 70 points. The best indicator in the Bundesliga belongs to Josep Guardiola, the former head coach of Bayern, who collected 74 points in 26 rounds in the 2013/14 season.
Bayern Munich ranks 3rd and 4th on the list. In the 2012/13 season, Jupp Heynckes, the head coach of the Munich team, scored 69 points in 26 rounds, and in the 2015/16 season, Josep Guardiola scored 66 points.
Alonso managed to do this after 26 rounds with a different club and wrote both his name and Bayer 04's name in the history of German football.
