The Federal Customs Service has disclosed the key trading partners of Russia for the year 2023, Ednews reports via rusturk.com.
Russia's foreign trade volume in 2023 amounted to a staggering $710.1 billion. Notably, Asian countries dominated this figure, accounting for 51% of the trade volume, while European nations contributed 23%.
China emerged as Russia's foremost trading partner, with trade reaching $240.1 billion. India followed closely in second place with $64.9 billion, trailed by Turkey at $56.5 billion, securing the third spot.
Additionally, Belarus ($55 billion) and Kazakhstan ($26 billion) rounded out the top five trading partners for Russia in 2023.
The trade volumes with South Korea and Germany stood at $15 billion and $12.2 billion, respectively, underscoring the diverse range of partnerships that contribute significantly to Russia's global trade network.
