British Foreign Secretary David Cameron will urge the United States Congress to pass an aid package for Ukraine after he met Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee for president.
The meeting kicked off a visit by Cameron to the US during which he met Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Washington on Tuesday.
"If we give Ukrainians the support they deserve, they can win this war," British Foreign Minister Cameron said on his trip to United States.
According to Ednews, he emphasized, "In such dangerous times, a close alliance between the UK and the US is essential to help Ukraine win the war against Russia."
Britain and the United States have made progress on the transfer of frozen sovereign assets of the Russian Federation to Kiev, which they will present at the G7 summit in June.
