Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Special Adviser to the UN Secretary-General on Climate Action and Just Transition, Selwin Charles Hart, who is on a visit to Baku to attend the 6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, Ednews informs, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).
The meeting discussed the preparations for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), the negotiation process, and cooperation issues.
The parties also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest related to cooperation in the field of combating climate change.
