Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar has called on Israel to respect agreements reached between the United States and Iran, warning against further escalation in the Middle East.
Speaking alongside Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares at a joint news conference in Bratislava, Blanar stressed the importance of resolving regional conflicts through diplomacy, including the war in Gaza and tensions involving Iran.
"We don't want Lebanon to become another Gaza," Blanar said, adding that Israel should adhere to the agreements concluded between Washington and Tehran.
Blanar also said Slovakia and Spain share a common approach to international crises, emphasizing diplomacy, dialogue and respect for international law as the preferred path to stability.
