The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) entered southern Gaza with dozens of tanks, armored personnel carriers and bulldozers, Ednews informs via AFP that the media reported on Monday citing eyewitnesses. The influx of military equipment likely precedes a significant military operation in the area.
According to the report, tanks were seen near Khan Younis and on the southern part of Salah al-Din highway spanning the length of the Gaza Strip. Earlier today, the IDF advised Palestinians in southern Gaza to flee some areas, although Sky News reported that the so-called "safe area" in al Mawasi designated by the IDF for civilians is "unsuitable" and "mostly farmland, with no infrastructure."
