Iran says it has launched a large-scale missile and drone operation targeting what it described as "enemy bases" across the region, according to state-affiliated Nour News Agency.
The report states that the operation is being carried out jointly by the Iranian Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in response to ongoing US military strikes. Citing an Iranian military official, the agency said the attacks are aimed at sites identified after monitoring what it called "enemy movements" over the past 48 hours.
