Zakir Ibrahimov, Chairman of the Executive Board of Azerbaijan's AzerGold CJSC met with delegation led by Minister of State for Petroleum of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Musadik Masood Malik on June 2, Ednews reports.
Stressing that Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations are developing in many areas, Zakir Ibrahimov spoke extensively about the activities of AzerGold CJSC, its achievements, long-term strategic initiatives of the state company, and the work done in the areas of non-ferrous and ferrous metals.
Minister of State for Petroleum of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Musadik Masood Malik pointed out that there is a useful experience of cooperation between the two countries covering various areas of the economy. The Pakistani minister highlighted that there are great opportunities for the development of Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations in the mining industry. M. Malik informed about the mineral resources of his country, and especially emphasized the attractiveness of coal, iron ore, copper and gold fields for potential cooperation.
