Bangladesh is interested in opening a diplomatic mission of Azerbaijan in this country.
EDnews informs citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, the head of the country's foreign policy department, Jashim Uddin, said this during the second round of inter-Ministerial political consultations with Azerbaijan.Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov participated in the meeting from the Azerbaijani side.
"During the consultations, the parties discussed the entire spectrum of bilateral relations. They expressed their satisfaction with the growing dynamics of cooperation in political, economic, cultural and multilateral spheres. Minister J. Uddin once again emphasized the importance of opening a diplomatic mission of Azerbaijan in Dhaka.
It was noted that the next round of inter-Ministerial bilateral political consultations will be held in Baku.The minister also highly appreciated Azerbaijan's leading role in advancing the global climate agenda.
"He also called for finding a suitable solution to the current problem of visas for Bangladeshi citizens wishing to visit Azerbaijan. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to sign a number of memorandums, including a memorandum on the introduction of a visa-free regime for diplomats and representatives of state institutions," the organization said.
