The International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) informed the international community about the detention and inhumane treatment of two Azerbaijani soldiers by Armenians.
John Ayomide, Program officer of the International Euroasia Press Fund said that there are a few things people from the world and everyone need to understand a basic human right and the international mentoring law which protects prisoners of war or civilians themselves:
“When we talk about civilians we know that people that are not in the military that has ammunition that have anything against you. You're not supposed to touch on them or just simulate them you're not supposed to break their human rights. Basically what Armenians have been doing is that they are provoking the Azerbaijani citizens, and entities about what they proclaim to be then protecting the land.”
J.Ayomide stressed that there are two soldiers, innocent. They are not armed, they basically do not with ammunition, and they don't have guns:
“They just were lost and the video which was posted on social media shows that there is a difference between just a normal human being, a normal country, and just abnormal people. This is an Act of Animals, it's not a human heart, I mean, people should not do that because these people aren't without ammunition. Basically, I think as we see today that nowadays human rights are one of the spoken topics in every place - people want to protect human rights and their own national identity.”
“I think this is a big problem which I think International organizations, human rights, people, activists- they need to come up against and just tell them NO. I personally don't want to see people being tortured and de humiliated like that”, he added.
The program officer mentioned in the end that not only from Azerbaijan inside but we call on International Community as we can see from the statement written by the NGO of Azerbaijan:
“This is a huge problem and I think it's a global world problem that everyone needs to see and I think it's sad.”
