"The main goal of the UN observer mission in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan is to convey only the truth from the region."
These words were said by political expert, founder and general director of the Azerbaijan-US Economic and Education Council, representative of İEPF in the US, Peter Tase, in his interview to Ednews.
According to him, this should be taken carefully not to report with double standards and all realities should be conveyed:
"The UN mission of observers in Azerbaijan’s region of Karabakh have a fundamental mission to report the truth and only the truth from the ground. Under the leadership of President ILHAM ALIYEV, the GOVERNMENT OF AZERBAIJAN has been the most reliable member of United Nations with a peace loving spirit and a state policy that embraces multilateral diplomacy at every stage of its public policies. Azerbaijan, unlike any other UN member state, has shaped a marvelous multicultural and multiethnic legislation and national road map that ensures a thriving coexistence of different ethnic communities living inside the National territory. The Republic of Azerbaijan deserves a better treatment from international organizations including UN; double standard reporting from the ground is abhorrent and must be condemned and urgently denounced every time we are exposed to these fake reports and assessments".
The political expert also stressed that UN expert Edem Wosornu should be careful not to fall into the trap of Armenian propaganda.
"The UN mission to Karabakh, arriving this Sunday, is the first international body visiting this region of Azerbaijan in the last 30 years. The experts of UN must be impartial in reporting and embrace objectivity. Edem Wosornu must conduct a thorough investigation in regards to violation of human rights committed by Armenian terrorists against innocent Armenian civilians in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh. Mrs. Edem Wosornu is obliged to respect and comply with The four UN Security Council Resolutions pertaining to the Armenia-Azerbaijan armed conflict; and must convince international actors about the economic blockade ocurring against the people of Nakhchivan for over 30 years; a disastrous action implemented by Armenian regime. Azerbaijan is a nation with a thriving ethnic diversity and peaceful coexistence among various religions. Knowing that Mrs. Wosornu is well seasoned in humanitarian affairs; she should be prudent in absorbing the main stream media information and avoid from falling in The trap of Armenian propaganda machine.
