New questions have arisen about Iran's involvement in the conflict after the Israeli army attacked Hezbollah observation points in response to rockets fired from Lebanon. Claiming that it is ready for other "scenarios" that may happen, the Israeli side said that it is also ready for the possibility of opening a new front in Iran. In such a situation, the United States has announced that it will take measures in this direction if "Hezbollah" is involved in the issue.
How expected is the issue of Iran's entry into the conflict?
For the past three days, "Hezbollah" has been firing rockets at Israel from the south of Lebanon.
There have even been clashes with three Hezbollah operatives for several days, one of whom may be a Palestinian Islamic jihadist.
Matthew Bryza, the former ambassador of the USA to Azerbaijan, an international expert and a board member of the Jamestown Foundation, commented on the topic to Ednews:
"Missiles are fired at Israel from the areas where Iran exists in Syria. Of course, Iran denies that it supports Hezbollah. Thus, the USA warns Iran not to open a new northern front against Hezbollah and Lebanon against Israel. The United States moved the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford, the most modern aircraft carrier and naval battle group of the United States, from the Ionian Sea to the Eastern Mediterranean for warning purposes.
The former ambassador also noted that since there is no evidence that Iran was involved in this case, it is pointless to discuss the hypothesis:
"Iran, as the U.S. government says, has been known to aid Hamas for decades. However, there is still no evidence that Iran was directly involved in or planned this attack. I think that at least the deterioration of U.S. relations with Iran is expected in the near future. "In my opinion, in response to major military operations by Hezbollah from southern Lebanon to Israel, the US will use its aircraft carriers and air forces. This includes US aircraft, drones, helicopters, as well as remotely piloted missile cruisers."
Mr. Bryza summed up his thoughts as follows:
"Thus, the United States is looking forward to the strategic deployment of its forces in the area in order to reduce tensions in the region as soon as possible. Thus, I think it is clear that Iran is not satisfied with this step. In summary, many issues will be clarified soon, besides, everything I will say has a speculative meaning."
