Azerbaijan's Parliament adopted draft law "On space activities in the first reading

Draft law "On space activities" was put into discussion at a meeting of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis (Parliament), EDnews reports.
 
The draft law which consists of 6 chapters and 24 articles, was discussed at today's meeting of the Economic Policy, Industry, and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Milli Majlis.
 
If the law is adopted, it will determine the legal, economic and organizational bases of space activity in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the general requirements for the implementation of entrepreneurial activity in the space industry, and will regulate relations related to national activity in outer space, including the Moon and other celestial bodies and their orbits.
 
After discussions, the draft law was put to the vote and adopted in the first reading.
