Georgia supports peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili told journalists at briefing held before European Political Community Summit, Ednews reports citing Georgian bureau of Sputnik.
Irakli Garibashvili stressed that these contacts meet the interests of both countries and the entire region:
“After the 44-day war, Georgia acted as a mediator in the contacts between Yerevan and Baku. The position and role of Tbilisi is neutral and impartial in the context of strengthening stability and peace in the region," Garibashvili stressed.
