The Armenian-Turkish settlement process is very important for Armenia, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said at a meeting of the standing committees of the National Assembly on the draft state budget for 2024, Ednews informs referring to Armenian media.
“Negotiations are underway to normalize Armenian-Turkish relations. I hope that in the near future we will report good news in connection with the opening of the land border between Armenia and Türkiye for citizens of third countries,” Mirzoyan noted.
He reminded that in Tehran he held talks with the Turkish foreign minister. Also, special representatives of Armenia and Türkiye have been appointed to discuss the issue of normalization of relations.
Mirzoyan noted that Armenia is interested in stable relations with four neighbors (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Türkiye and Iran - ed.).
