Azerbaijan sent another batch of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan told Ednews.
The humanitarian aid was sent within the Decree signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated July 17, 2023.
The mentioned humanitarian cargo includes more than 900,000 meters of electric cables and wires, as well as 18 transformers and complete transformer stations. A truck convoy of 23 trucks carrying aid supplied by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan left the territory of the Sumgayit Technology Park today. It is planned to send the next parts of electrical equipment with a total value of USD 7.6 million intended for providing humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine by the aforementioned Decree of the head of the country.
Note that the first part of the mentioned humanitarian aid was sent to Ukraine on October 30 of this year.
