We are strongly condemning the absurd and slanderous statement made by the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Alen Simonyan, on the alleged occupation of 31 villages of Armenia by Azerbaijan,” was said in the Statement of the Western Azerbaijan Community, Ednews reports.
“We consider that, by making such an unjustified claim, Armenia has once again demonstrated that it is not interested to sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan. With this, Armenia also tries to cover up the fact of them still keeping Azerbaijan’s 8 villages under occupation.
Instead of saying nice words about the return, Armenian officials should take a real step with starting a dialogue with the Western Azerbaijan Community in this direction,” was said in the Statement.
