A meeting between Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov was held in Moscow, Ednews informs via Report.
Current issues of the bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and Russia, including the current situation in the region, were discussed in the talks held within the framework of the meeting of foreign ministers of the Caspian littoral states in Moscow.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed satisfaction with the development of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including political, economic, trade, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.

A bilateral meeting between Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov has started in Moscow, Ednews informs via Report.
The meeting is taking place in the mansion of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the situation in the sphere of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia will be discussed during the meeting.
“We have a number of large projects. The International North-South Transport Corridor and many other projects in the energy sector. We will also exchange views on the situation in the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. I will be ready to exchange views on how our contacts in this regard are developing," Lavrov said.
On December 4, Jeyhun Bayramov embarked on a working visit to Russia to participate in a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Caspian countries, which will be held today in Moscow.
